Description
This beautiful quilt features the traditional Snowball pattern with dark greens and whites as the main colors. The white “snowballs” are bordered with 9 Patch squares in scrappy fabrics. The green floral border is scalloped and the backing is a white swirly print.

Queen (98″ W x 114″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 19″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Snowball block pattern dates back to the 17th century and was named for its shape. From a distance the square block looks round due to the straight edges sewn onto its 8 sides. This technique allows the quilter to create the illusion of a round shape without having to sew curved fabric pieces together.
