Description
This beautiful quilt features a star in the center with overlapping points and surrounding star points in blues and reds. The points are paper-pieced into a beige background. The inner border features angled stripes while the outer border is a bright floral print in matching colors. The backing is a light blue floral print.

Queen (100″ W x 108″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
This complicated pattern comes from a very skilled quilter. It requires a technique known as “foundation paper-piecing,” or FPP, which keeps all of the sharp points flat while sewing them together.
