Description
This is a stunningly beautiful quilt made entirely out of Cathedral Window squares. The fabric inside each intricate square features a different floral print in navy blue, light blue, black, or gray. Each piece is hand-sewn onto the white background.
King (118″ W x 118″ L)
A regular king mattress is 76″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 21″ drop on each side.
A California king mattress is 72″ wide and 84″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 23″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Cathedral Window quilt pattern was inspired by the stained glass windows of historic churches and cathedrals. Each square is made using a folded patchwork technique which requires sewing by hand! A large quilt like this consists of hundreds of Cathedral Window squares.
