Description
This beautiful quilt features the traditional Churn Dash block in floral fabrics and soft, muted colors with a matching red border. The backing is a white floral print.

A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have an 18″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Churn Dash is a very old 9-Patch quilt block pattern, originating between 1800 and 1849. Its name is a result of the resemblance of the triangle and rectangle perimeter of the block to a butter churn and the center square to the stick – or “dash” – of the butter churn.
