Description
A twist on the Bargello technique by adding vertical sashing to create a fractured look with a heart in the center. The color palette includes beiges, pale mustard yellows, whites, dark greens, and blacks, all of which match the outer border of hibiscus flowers. The backing features a pale, mustard yellow floral print.

Queen (101″ W x 111″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Bargello patterns are based on a 500-year-old tapestry pattern. They are made by sewing together squares and rectangles which gradually change in size and create curves that come to a point.
By adding vertical strips of light-colored sashing through the design, it gives the illusion of a pipe organ with the shape of a heart in the center.
