Description
This quilt features a beautiful design of lily flowers with appliqued stems and leaves and a star within a star in the center. The color palette is soft purples with greens and hints of black on a white background. The design perfectly frames the shape of the bed with a decorative border across the pillows. The backing is soft green floral print.

Queen (100″ W x 112″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Carolina Lily was a popular quilt block in the early 1900’s. There are dozens of different variations of it across America. First the top of the flower and its petal are pieced together, and then the stem and leaves are cut out and hand-appliqued to the top of the quilt block.
