Description
A traditional quilt block with sashing and many, many stars added in between! This quilt includes a variety of scrappy fabrics in vibrant reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and browns, set in a beige background with taupe sashing. The scrappy square inner border features matching colors and the outer border is a bright red print of roses. The backing is an illustrated print of hibiscus flowers.

Queen (97″ W x 114″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have an 18.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The eight-point star is one of the oldest and most popular quilt blocks. The large stars in this quilt have 16 pieces each and require a technique known as “paper-piecing,” which keeps all of the sharp points flat while sewing them together.
