Description
The traditional Pineapple pattern in navy blues, light blues, and solid whites. The border is scalloped and the backing is also a solid white.

A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 21.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Pineapple quilt block originated in the American south in the 1800’s, inspired by pineapples which symbolize hospitality. The block is made by sewing strips of fabric on the four corners of each square over and over again to get an overlapping effect that resembles the shape of a prickly pineapple.
