The beautiful quilt features a leaf design in a vibrant purples in batik fabrics making an amazing intricate designs. The backing is a light grey with a scroll pattern thru the fabric

A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 22″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.

The Fire Island quilt pattern was designed by Judy Niemeyer of Quiltworx. It does feature a leaf design and uses a combination of foundation paper piecing as well as traditional and curved piecing techniques. It is also known for vibrant splashes of color and intricate designs
