Description
A twist on the Bargello technique that creates a stained glass look by sewing vertical strips of black sashing through the design. The fabrics in this quilt include a variety of colorful autumn prints in greens, golds, and oranges, with a matching leafy border. The pieced backing features a bright maple leaf print lined with a green and gold starry print, making this quilt reversible.

Queen (101″ W x 113″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Bargello patterns are based on a 500-year-old tapestry pattern. They are made by sewing together squares and rectangles which gradually change in size and create curves that come to a point.
By adding vertical strips of black sashing through the design, it gives the illusion of stained glass.
