About This Pattern:
Specific to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, this pattern is known as Sunshine & Shadows to the Amish community and Trip Around the World to the Mennonite community. It can also be called the Postage Stamp due to the size of the squares. It is made by sewing together lots of small squares in rows of contrasting colors to form diamond shapes.
