- The Postage Stamp pattern is specific to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Mennonite community, know this pattern as Trip Around the World. The Amish community call it Sunshine & Shadows. Thousands of tiny squares are sewn in rows of contrasting colors to form diamond shapes.
