A traditional pattern broken star pattern in shades of green and printed green fabric. Meticulous quilting is seen all thru the quilt on a white background. The backing is a printed cream color with intricate flowers and stems.

Description
This beautiful quilt features the traditional Broken Star pattern in different shades of green. Some of the fabric does have print of white floral or dark green on top of the fabric. The border is an evergreen with darker green floral print throughout. The intense mesmerizing hand quilting is easily seen on the white fabric. the backing is a cream color with a classy flower print.

Queen (96″ W x 110″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 18″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
This pattern is known as the Broken Star because of the outer star that appears to be breaking up outwards from the central Lone Star. Specific to the Amish and Mennonite communities of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the eight-pointed star Lone Star, also known as the Star of Bethlehem, symbolizes members of the family with God as the center.
