Description
This traditional Log Cabin quilt features a portrait of a buck and doe at the center. The diamond shapes form by contrasting light and dark fabrics in half of each log cabin square. The color palette complements the central panel, including brown, gray, and cream. Skilled hand-quilting highlights the deer and the trees surrounding them. The backing showcases a pale grey sponge-style print. You can display the quilt with either side visible, and the hand-stitched quilting adds a unique touch. This quilt is crafted by Amish artisans.

About This Pattern:
- The Log Cabin quilt pattern has a rich history that dates back to Abraham Lincoln’s presidential campaign. Women, who couldn’t vote at the time, used this pattern to show their support for Lincoln. During the days of the Underground Railroad, a Log Cabin quilt hanging in the window of a Northern home proudly signaled a safe house for escaping slaves.
