Description:

The dahlia dominates the quilt’s center, set against a delicate rose print in complimentary peach.  A bold green print borders the quilt, anchoring the design. About This Pattern:

The Giant Dahlia pattern, first featured in the 1935 issue of Needlecraft: The Home Arts Magazine, is a stunning quilt design. Its intricate curves and sharp points made it an instant classic, admired for both its beauty and technical difficulty.

This quilt is not for beginners. It demands a precise approach, careful cutting, and advanced quilting skills. Each petal requires precision, and the curved edges add an extra challenge. But the result is worth the effort—an elegant, dynamic piece with bold curves and geometric patterns that resemble the layered petals of a dahlia flower. It pushes quilters to test their skills while offering the chance to create something truly breathtaking.
