This beautiful quilt was made with curved quarter-circles in in teal, light and grey , and printed teal fabric. The backing is done in a shade of grey that mimics clouds in the sky.
Measurements:
Queen (103″ W x 114″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 21.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Ocean wave also known as the drunkards path,the Amish and Mennonite communities refer to this pattern as the Ocean Wave because they do not drink alcohol.
The curved quarter-circles are referred to as the drunkards’ Path because a person who is usually intoxicated can not walk a straight line. The Quilting technique is used to create curved patterns. Amish and Mennonite do not drink alcohol therefore has renamed the pattern to Ocean Wave
