The traditional log cabin pattern in vibrant colors of the rainbow, with the prominent colors of red white and blue There are also colors of cream as well and don’t forget the greens. The border is a pretty red with a leaf pattern . The backing is beautifully quilted on a brown printed floral fabric

About the pattern:
The log cabin pattern is one of the oldest patterns around. Many of the blocks are made with one half light colors symbolizing life’s joys and the other half dark symbolizing life’s sorrows.
During Lincoln’s campaign for President, women, who could not vote then made the log cabin quilts to show support for Lincoln who grew up in a log cabin
