The traditional log cabin pattern in beautiful calico printed butter yellow fabric strips as well shades of purple . The backing is a white purple swirled design that adds quirkiness to this quilt.. This quilt can be reversed for a new look, rest assured you will be able to still see the beautifully hand quilting on the reverse as well.

About the pattern:
The log cabin pattern is one of the oldest patterns around. Many of the blocks are made with one half light colors symbolizing life’s joys and the other half dark symbolizing life’s sorrows.
During Lincoln’s campaign for President, women, who could not vote then made the log cabin quilts to show support for Lincoln who grew up in a log cabin
