Description
The beautiful quilt features the traditional Log Cabin pattern as well as the Bear Claw pattern in browns, greens and creams The diamond shapes in the center show off the the bear claw pattern as well. The border is brown and the backing is cream with printed butterflies and flowers in white print.

A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Log Cabin quilts date back to when Abraham Lincoln was running for office. Because women could not vote, they made log cabin quilts to show their support for him as he lived in a log cabin. During the era of the Underground Railroad, a log cabin quilt hanging in the window of a Northern home indicated a safe house.
The Bear Paw gets its name from its shape! Four smaller triangles are sewn together to one large triangle, which resembles the claws of the paw of a bear
