Description
This quilt features the traditional Log Cabin pattern in a light cream and dark taupe. The diamond shape focal point in the center of this beautiful quilt are made by using contrasting light and dark fabrics in half of the log cabin square. The backing is a light butter cream and the border is yellow cream floral printed fabric. This quilt will compliment any color scheme of your choosing.

A regular queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 22″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.

Log Cabin quilts date back to when Abraham Lincoln was running for office. Because women could not vote, they made log cabin quilts to show their support for him as he lived in a log cabin. During the era of the Underground Railroad, a log cabin quilt hanging in the window of a Northern home indicated a safe house.
