A traditional pattern in light and dark whimsical scrappy fabrics. Each small square is aligned to make a larger 9 patch square. Each 9 patch is separated by a cream and dark blue fabric. The backing is a white cotton pattern thru a taupe backing.

Description
The beautiful quilt features scrappy squares in whimsical fabric . This quilt has the best of both patterns! These scrappy fabric squares are made into a 9 patch larger square. In-between each 9 patch square there is a separation of strips of fabric that are carefully done and complimenting in a dark blue and cream. The backing of this quilt is a taupe color white white all thru resembling cotton. The border is a calico printed royal blue.
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Log Cabin quilts date back to when Abraham Lincoln was running for office. Because women could not vote, they made log cabin quilts to show their support for him as he lived in a log cabin. During the era of the Underground Railroad, a log cabin quilt hanging in the window of a Northern home indicated a safe house.
