This traditional Log Cabin quilt features a serene cabin in the woods on a lake. A perfect scenic getaway with darling little birds sitting onto of a pine tree limb The diamond shapes form by contrasting light and dark fabrics in half of each log cabin square. The color palette complements the central panel, including rock printed fabric in browns, dark teal, gray, cream, and a peach to match the beautiful sky. Skilled hand-quilting highlights the cabin and the trees surrounding them. The backing showcases a pale grey sponge-style print. The hand-stitched quilting adds a unique touch. This quilt is crafted by Amish artisans.

- The Log Cabin quilt pattern has a rich history that dates back to Abraham Lincoln’s presidential campaign. Women, who couldn’t vote at the time, used this pattern to show their support for Lincoln. During the days of the Underground Railroad, a Log Cabin quilt hanging in the window of a Northern home proudly signaled a safe house for escaping slaves.
