Description
This beautiful quilt combines two traditional patterns in cream with an off-white background. Four matching stars are added across the pillow tuck at the top. The border is scalloped and the backing is a matching off-white.
Measurements:
King (116″ W x 112″ L)
A king mattress is 76″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Star ‘N’ Common is a combination of the traditional Lone Star and Boston Common patterns. Specific to the Amish and Mennonite communities of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the eight-pointed star is also known as the Star of Bethlehem. The Boston Common is named after the 40-acre park in Boston, Massachusetts, and is the oldest city park in the United States.
