SIZE: Queen (100″ W x 112″ L)
A traditional pattern with a dahlia thru out the quilt in black and gold
Out of stock
Description
A twist on the traditional Log Cabin pattern by using light and dark fabrics to create the image of a dahlia thru out the quilt. This beautiful quilt features black and gold and off white. The backing is a cream color with a pattern
Queen (100″ W x 112L”)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 21.5″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Log Cabin quilts date back to when Abraham Lincoln was running for office. Because women could not vote, they made log cabin quilts to show their support for him as he lived in a log cabin. During the era of the Underground Railroad, a log cabin quilt hanging in the window of a Northern home indicated a safe house.
Handmade by a Mennonite Artist named Lena
